"CELEBRATE THE VISION !!"

Our good friends (from Texas but living in the Middle-East) addressed the YWAM Business as Mission team, of over 25 people, last Thursday at the farm. They challenged these interns to grasp tight to the vision before them.  Over the past five weeks, they split into several groups across Chiang Rai to work and serve.  As the work at our farm came to completion we took the opportunity to Celebrate their accomplishments with a time of Worship, Prayer, and sharing to challenge these servants as they take the next steps in their ministry. We also ate lots of ICE CREAM!

While serving in our project, they completed a new Buck Barn, Dog  Runs, Chicken Runs, and learned a lot about daily operations of our project.  We also took lots of time to talk and share about what it means to serve cross-culturally in missions and about how to engage the community with the Gospel in an intimate way.  We shared Thursday about the importance of choices that bring God glory as we serve Him in the Narrow Gate, and my friend shared Testimony about how he recalled me studying about farming and chickens at my desk at work more than 18 YEARS AGO!

God starts WAY back to begin to prepare us for a task, and it is important to remember this when we embrace a vision that we are called too.

We can see lots of tangible evidence of their work in our farm, but I feel like the most significant impact was on me personally.  Working with this team, and spending time with my friends and mentors of more than 18 years, I have been encouraged and lifted up in very special ways.  A fire has been rekindled, and by working side by side with this team and by standing on the Shoulders of this team, I am better prepared to see how God continues to reinforce and fulfill our ministry here in Thailand for the future

We are in the last few days before we depart for our Stateside Assignment in Texas, and we look forward to bringing to you a message of encouragement and a challenge from the field here in Thailand.

Pray for us as we prepare to go … As we prepare to Say Good-Bye … and for our time of arrival and transition in the US.

PRAYER REQUEST:

• Pray for preparation and final logistics to go Stateside from Thailand.
• Pray for increased provision of monthly missionary support in the US.
• Pray for continued provision of ongoing expenses $1,500 usd/month for outreach projects in Thailand.
• Pray for school tuition of $1,600 usd to close out the 2014 school year in Thailand.
• Pray for provision of Health Insurance and Vehicle Insurance in the US.
• Pray for details and funds for children’s education in the US.
• Praise the Lord for provision of a Vehicle for our use in the US by a local car dealer in DFW.
• Praise the Lord for provision of housing at FBC Benbrook for our time in the US.
• Pray for our Thai Staff as they care for our outreach project in Chiang Rai.
