The the barn for Lactating Goats was completely destroyed by high wind gusts last night. We had sustained minor damage a few days ago, but with high winds for 4 nights now, the barn simply could not hold up. As Pattie mentioned this morning, the interns are home for Easter, and two boy from the Home at Akha Outreach Foundation have been helping us keep things together. They are all safe, and the boys did a great job accounting for and caring for all the goats. As for the goats, I praise God that they came through with only a few bumps and scrapes.
Today, the boys went to worship at Pastor Ahme's and we were also able to disconnect the barn from the milking parlor, and make repairs to the milking parlor to make sure we can maintain operations. Tomorrow, we will begin dismantling the barn, and preparing for construction.
Narrow Gate Farm and Dairy, is a bi-vocational ministry to develop pastors to share God's Word, and Plant churches along the Thai-Burma Border. As we rebuild this week, we are also celebrating the completion of our first interns time of service at the farm. He will be preparing his own farm and taking delivery of 6 goats in May to support his ministry and church plant across the border in Myanmar.
Thank you for your prayers, and support as we face these challenges together. We are blessed to call you our Co-Workers.
In His Grip, God Bless
The Brittans
