Fourteen years ago this month, I stood in a little church in Cuba and heard God’s call to serve overseas as a missionary. That call today, is as loud and clear for our family as it ever has been. That said, over the years, we have seen the realization of that call played out in ways that we could have never imagined.
While we are in the US, I could not be more proud of our Thai staff and the diligence with which they have continued to run the farm and to lift up the name of Jesus in the community. Phii Nat and her team have served alongside us for a long time now. When we were planning our return to the US, she took on the responsibility of the project as if responding to God’s call to serve. “Here I am. Send me!” With no hesitation she took on the responsibility of the project and has continued to demonstrate her technical skills for the farm, but also her heart and love for the lost in the Northern Thai Community.
On occasion, my friends will send me pictures and updates on the farm. It is exciting for me to see these updates, as the team is not only doing what we have taught them over the years, but they are taking the initiative to develop other facets of the program, that will make it more inviting and usable for guests in the future.
March 18 - 27, Pattie and I have the opportunity to Go and visit the team. I will be spending time with our staff, reviewing progress of our outreach programs, and visiting partners and friends. This is a very exciting time to encourage Phii Nat, Phii Cluii, and Loong Saay, along with people that we have known and served with for the past ten years. Be in prayer for this trip, that we can be effective for God’s work there, and also that we can see how God is working so that we can plan and work with partners about the future. The Lord has provided us a very special opportunity through Narrow Gate Asia in Thailand, and we believe that we are just now at the threshold for what God has in store. He has prepared a place! He has prepared a team! And He has a plan for how we are going to Serve HIM at Narrow Gate Asia in Thailand.

- Pray for travel logistics and mercies March 18 – 27, 2016.
- Pray for provision for travel and ministry expenses on the March trip. ($6,000)
- Pray for ongoing support of our agricultural outreach project in Thailand. ($2,500/month)
- Pray for our 2016 Project Development goal of $50,000 usd. To expand staff housing, a church building, and ministry operations in Thailand.
- Pray that God’s Will is done and His Kingdom comes to North Thailand through the hands and work of Narrow Gate Asia.
