"Met The New Neighbors in the Narrow Gate!"
I could not believe it!! It is the first day of deliveries at the farm, and work on the barn has not even begun, BUT, the Lord is already WORKING on the hearts and minds of the neighbors that are entering into the gates of our little farm in North Thailand.
Work is underway to develop the new project site in Chiang Rai, and this past week has shown some fast developments as we leveled and prepared the building pad, installed new water system, and also began to till the soil in the areas around the office for planting. We are attaching some pictures for you to see our progress. We even delivered materials on yesterday to begin the structure framing on Monday. It was very exciting for me to see the concrete columns, block, and other materials being unloaded.
More than that, I was blessed to begin meeting some of our new neighbors. Phii Aught stopped by on his Motorcycle as the trucks were pulling into the driveway. He introduced himself and we talked about what we were doing, and about his farm. He has a rubber plantation up the road along with pineapples and other fruits. I told him, that I knew his farm, because it is one of the most beautiful in the area. He does a fantastic job managing and taking care of his farm.
As the second truck, was backing through the gate, I commented about how “Narrow” the gate was. I was actually holding my breath as the truck made its way in, because I was concerned that he would take out our new fence and gate before we even got started working on the project. After the driver successfully entered the “Narrow Gate” I shared with Phii Aught that our farm was named Narrow Gate Farm and Dairy. He said, “I saw that written on the sticker on the back of your truck…”
“What does Narrow Gate Mean?” He asked. And, “Why would you call your farm and your goat milk ‘NARROW GATE’?”
When I went to work yesterday, I had a long list of things I wanted to accomplish. And God has blessed our work and all of the preparatory activities of last week were completed successfully, but I would have never guessed that I was going to meet my new neighbor and get to talk about “the Narrow Gate that Leads to LIFE!”
God is so good, and He speaks so clearly to us through is word about who he is. As we follow him and seek out His plan for our lives, our family, our ministry, and our farm, I am also blessed to see that we see Him speak through His Works.
God is using Narrow Gate Asia to open doors to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and we our so blessed to see Him using you to help pray, support, and encourage our family.
I thank God that He can use a Farmer to help the neighbors hear about how to "Enter the Narrow Gate that Leads to Life!"
Thank you and God Bless.
In His Grip
