Gone to TEXAS - Nov 6 - 22

“Now the Lord said to Abram, ‘Go forth from your country, And from your relatives And from your father’s house, To the land which I will show you; And I will make you a great nation, And I will bless you, And make your name great; And so you will be a blessing; And I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse, And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.” Genesis 12: 1-3.

The ramifications of this promise are echoed in every book of the Bible and continue today to impact the lives of everyone who calls themselves a Christian. When we consider the spiritual legacy that we receive from those that have come before us, we certainly must also be aware of the responsibility that we have to insure that those to come are presented with the same opportunity and blessing. In 2006 our family departed from our home in TEXAS to set up not only a new place to live, but a new place to call “HOME” in a little town called Mae Sai, Thailand.

And, on Thursday of this week, I will be blessed with the opportunity to come back to Texas for a brief time to share more about what God is doing through your prayers and support of Narrow Gate Asia. In our early stages of development, it is crucial that we work closely with our board of directors, so I am coming to meet with the Board and I also look forward to having an opportunity to talk with many of you about how God is beginning to open doors for the Gospel in North Thailand. I am looking forward to sharing specifically about our developmental progress related to the site for the Dairy Farm, English School Opening, and how God is teaching and discipling His people in North Thailand.

I will arrive in the Dallas – Fort Worth area on November 6, and return to Thailand on Sunday November 22. Please be in prayer for the travels and programs related to this trip to Texas, asking that God would grant safe travel, wisdom and guidance for Narrow Gate Asia, connections with the Dairy industry in TEXAS, and for a productive time reconnecting with our many friends from the area. Also pray for a special blessing upon Pattie and the children as they remain in Thailand for ongoing school and work activities.
