"For the vision is yet for the appointed time; It hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it....but the righteous will live by his faith." Habakkuk 2:3-4. The Lord has given us a great vision for his work in South East Asia, and He continues to open the Narrow Gate before us, as we continue to walk through that gate by the Faith that the Lord gives to us.

Over the course of the past week, we have met with many old friends and had the chance to be introduced to new ones. At several homes in Central Tennessee, and North Texas, we have had a chance to share once again about how God is moving and working in North Thailand to expand His Kingdom.

After traveling across the country, it is good to be back in Fort Worth and catch up on some much needed business. As we prepare for our return to Thailand in August, it is good to celebrate the growth of our support team for Narrow Gate Asia and also to share other praises and prayer requests.

* Praise the Lord for provision of Airplane tickets (Booking Today for an August 17th departure)
* Praise the Lord for opportunities to share about his work.
* Praise the Lord for new Support Team Members as people join us almost daily.
* Pray for details of preparation and travel.
* Pray for preparation for the coming school term.
* Pray for Laborers in the Harvest. (Foreigners and Nationals)
* Pray for protection, physically and spiritually.
* Give God Glory, for He is SO GOOD.

I remember the sound of my fathers voice singing hymns at church, when I was a young child in Arlington, Tx. This past Sunday, I had the opportunity to worship in Spring Hill, Tennessee, and while praising the Lord to the song "In Christ we Stand" I heard once again that voice familiar from long ago. I was holding my son Harry V in my arms, I felt my fathers arm around my sholder, and I could hear him sing, as we lifted up our voices together to our Heavenly Father.

What an awesome thought to consider the legacy and responsibility that we have to our sons. As a father, we are constantly making impressions upon our young children, and right or wrong, we are impacting them for generations. Our Heavenly Father wants to give us the desires of our hearts, and ultimately these come in the form of good and perfect blessings. I often fall short, but I do hope that we all can live up to this as a standard of excellence in our lives.

Many of you have heard us share from John 5:19-20, where we talk about watching to see what the Father is doing. Truly, the Son can do nothng of Himself, and that goes for you and me as well. We need to draw in close to our fathers. Those here on earth, and our Heavenly Father.

The Narrow Gate to a Spring Hill Farm
We drove through a Narrow Gate, following the Tuesday morning Spring Hill Rotary Club meeting to find our way to a local dairy farm. Not just any farm, but one managed by Mr.Ken Lamar of the University of Tennessee Extension Service. Mr. Lamar and his associate David Johnson work hard, to not only produce quality milk, but also do research in the areas of feed production and mastitis prevention.

I feel that the Lord lead us to this farm, as both men attend Baptist churches in local community. They were excited to hear about Narrow Gate Farm and Dairy in Thailand, and they were more than willing to show us around the farm. It s always a pleasure to visit any farm, as it is an opportunity to learn and compare notes. In particular, this farm was a good opportunity, because it is part of their mission to insure that the local farmers have access to emerging technology that will help them to improve productivity for the local agricultural community.

How does this apply to Narrow Gate Farm and Dairy? On this tour, we gained deeper insight in regards to several key operational areas.

• Intensively Managed Grazing Systems
• Flexible - Stall Designs
  
• and Seasonal Breeding schedules to allow for down time during months were production is difficult.

These concepts provide us with some new options for further consideration, and the potential for transfer of technology not only to our farm, but also to the local farmers in North Thailand.

God told Abraham that, he would receive a blessing, so that he in turn could bless others. As we return to Thailand next month, we look forward to how God is going to use Narrow Gate Farm and Dairy to engage the community to further His Kingdom and be a blessing to the community.
