"Just walk and pray. Ask others how you can pray for them, and then you will see where I am already at work."
WoW! I thought how simple was that! Now my prayer request was simple...."How do I get outside my fence, Lord?" My family all laughed when I told them about my request. Their response was "open the gate, mom!!" or " you just go, mom!". I laughed with them, but God did not laugh. He simply said
"Walk" and "Pray" and "Ask others how you can pray for them".

Our house is the one on the left with the fence around it.
These are the streets He said to "walk and pray".
Ok, I have to confess my next prayer request was "God, I don't have the confidence in my Thai language to get out like that! Can you give me confidence in the Thai language? Can you tell me the main vocabulary I need to make sure I know before I leave my fence?" He faithfully replied:
"Tell them about the One Living God" and "Ask them how you can pray for them"
WoW! I can do that! I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. I have spent some time today studying some basic words that I would need to have these conversations. I feel more confident today. Tomorrow I am hoping to talk with one neighbor who has already shown an interest in reading the Bible, and I am praying for the time in my day to talk with at least one more person. I know that God is already working here, and I am looking forward to seeing His hand working.
So I am sure you are wondering what I told my child about hearing from God. I simply said,
"Spend time with Him"
