"Partnerships for Success!" IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS AND INFORMATION

The Brittan Family was blessed in 2009 to have the opportunity to begin a ministry that uses Business as Mission to see Thai and ethnic cell groups of believers started in North Thailand that will develop into churches that reach out to their communities and to the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Narrow Gate Farm and Dairy has been the focal point of our ministry outreach and integration with the community and will continue to grow and serve in that role.

As we look to the future, and plan for the long term sustainability of the mission and of our family, God has impressed upon us the crucial nature of Partnerships for our Success!  This relates both to details for administration and organization of our Mission and to Church Planting.

MISSION PARTNERSHIP – As some may already know from our gathering and announcements in the US prior to our departure, The Brittan Family has aligned with SEND International and more specifically Marketplace & Development Enterprises (MDE).  MDE is a mission organization that was created for the specific purpose of doing Business as Mission with a heart for Church Planting.

At MDE it is our vision is to see mature Christ-followers taking the presence and the message of Christ to the millions who have little to no hope of experiencing God’s love or hearing truth in their community.

Together, we believe this is often best done through relationships built in the natural setting of the “marketplace” of a community. Relationships that are developed by working alongside people -- either as a fellow employee or as the owner of a business.

The Brittan Family and MDE are called to the Business Marketplace for the purpose of teaming with others in planting healthy, reproducing churches through the natural relationships that flow from working and living in authentic ways in those communities.

MDE brings to the Brittan family the ability to send and help us administrate the logistics of being “Faith Based” missionaries overseas.  Most importantly, MDE was created with the express purpose of starting, growing, and supporting Business as Missions Enterprises this will help our project at Narrow Gate Farm and Dairy to grow and be sustainable for the future.

CHURCH PLANTING PARTNERSHIP – The Brittan Family is entering a new partnership with long-time friends at Baan Athitaan Church and The Channel of Blessing Foundation near our farm in Chiang Rai.  Here, I will serve as the Director of Development be responsible for implementing systems and programs related to spiritual, moral, and community/agricultural development.  This partnership is going to strengthen our position as church planters and give us assistance to more effectively pursue our vision to reach the Northern Thai People with the Gospel and to plant a church through our ministry project at Narrow Gate.  This organization will also provide me with a Visa and Work Permit that will allow me to live and work in Thailand for an extended time and fulfill my roles in both Church Planting and in our Business as Mission Project at Narrow Gate Farm and Dairy.  This is a very special opportunity that God has provided for us.  As we transition into this new role please be in prayer for our Baan Athitaan team.

As a result of these partnerships, the Brittan Family is stronger and more prepared than ever before to pursue God’s call to reach the people of North Thailand.  The heart and vision of the Brittan Family and Narrow Gate Asia is the same…  That said, all support and administration of Narrow Gate Asia is being transitioned to SEND International and MDE over the course of the next several months.

What does this mean for the vision and ministry of Narrow Gate Asia?

• The Brittan family will be stronger and better able to meet the needs of our family and ministry through these partnerships, resulting in a more effective outreach project and church plant.

What does this mean for Narrow Gate Asia as an organization?

• Narrow Gate Asia will transfer all administration to SEND International and will wrap up operations by year end 2016.  That said, we are thankful for the service and commitment of our Board Members over the years, and in many ways these same individuals will continue to serve in advisory capacities with our new partner organizations to insure that the vision and task of Narrow Gate and the Brittan Family is maintained for the future.

What does this mean for Financial Supporters of the Brittan Family?

• Yes… You can still support the Brittan Family and Vision for Church Planting and outreach projects in Thailand and we encourage you to continue.  The Vision and task remains the same and that is to integrate with the community for the purpose of Sharing the Love of Jesus.
• Monthly Support and Special Gifts can be given directly to SEND International, and they will administer those gifts for us.  You will receive tax deductible receipts for your contributions to NGA for 2016, and SEND International will also provide tax receipts for you at the appropriate time. 
• If you are a new supporter, this is a great time for you to make a commitment to be a part of our monthly support team and sign up today! We are praying that the Holy Spirit will be leading you to partner with us, and we appreciate your support.

• If you support the Brittan Family monthly using the USPS and a Check to NGA, please begin to use the new contact information at SEND International.
• If you support the Brittan Family via the NGA Paypal link or through your own bank, please make arrangements to cancel those monthly payments to NGA and then use the link for SEND International and follow the steps for setting up an automatic monthly payment.
