A Magical Place

We have just returned from a week in Florida where we spent 3 of those days visiting different parks at Disneyworld with the Corrick family. What a joy! There was so much to see and experience.

Epcot had many different highlights for us. Mission Space was quite an experience for us. Part of our group even chose to ride the more intense experience. We enjoyed our time in The Land also. Soarin' was a hit with all that rode. It is a hang-gliding experience with site, sound, and smell...what fun!! I just wanted to dangle my toes in the water each time we went over the water. Also, we were so excited to see the many different agricultural products they are growing in "Living with the Land". There were many different fruits and vegetable that we do not see in the US (but we do in Thailand). It was fun to see. There are so many things we did see at Epcot I would need to write a complete book to capture it all, so I will leave you with these few highlights.

Hollywood Studios was a hit with our family. I think my family has been forever impacted by the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster and the Tower of Terror. For those who have experienced these rides you will understand, and for those who have yet to experience them, more talk will come about these rides. The Rock 'N' Roller Coaster starts off at 0 MPH and goes to 60 MPH in about 2.8 seconds. WoW!! The force on your body is amazing. The whole experience is fast and smooth. (not enough descriptive words to really do it justice). The Tower of Terror is another experience that was amazing. The whole wait in line builds up to the actual ride. The scenery (the old hotel from The Twilight Zone), and the smell of the old place really sets the scene for the actual ride. Once you are loaded onto the service elevator, it is a unexpected up and down thrill for all involved. One of our younger riders exclaimed, "Please make the man stop the ride".... Bless his little heart for enduring such a ride. What a trooper!! We also had the opportunity to see some Indiana Jones stunts. Harry was so excited to see this. I will have to let him explain it to you. So many more things to talk about 3-D experiences, a trip through movie history, imagination, and much much more.

Well, there is a brief picture of two of our three park days, and there is so much more to tell about the other days also. Stay tuned. There is more to come, and there might actually be a few pictures if time allows.

What a joy!!
