September 22....already!!!
We have been here for one and a half years already!!
Just some thoughts in my mind as I start this blog. I know our blogs has been far and few between, and our emails have been fewer in number. Thank you for your faithfulness in praying for us!
Since my last blog many more events have taken place. The Stathatos family (Jeff, Zora, Drake, Max, and Grant) came to see what we were up to. That's no small task!! Travelling half-way around the world with three small children is a huge task. During their visit we visited a Lahu village, visited a few children's hostels, visited a new Bible school, played in the rain, rode elephants, and enjoyed some good food.

God really blessed our time with them. He allowed them to see our work here in a better way than we can ever describe in an email. Thank you Stathatos Family!!! Also, I want to thank the Watermark class for all the support and prayer that you have poured into this trip and the community here.
A few days after they left we were off to a meeting in Chiang Mai. It was a week long meeting, and we had the chance to connect with some old friends. We also made some new friends. We were really glad to get back home after so much travel this past month. We settled back into a routine of homeschool, language study, and normal activities.
On July 21st, we celebrated Nellie's 2nd birthday. She is growing so fast, and she is SO smart. She is speaking both Thai and English now. She makes friends everywhere she goes....
On August 26th, we celebrated Hattie's 10th birthday. In Hattie style we had a "dog party". We played some fun games "Guess who's bark", "What's my name", and "Dog show". The party was a real hit, and Hattie loved every moment.

On September 1st, Emma had her first dance show here in Thailand. There were about 20 girls in her group, and she was the only blond. She has so much grace and beauty. She really loves to dance, and we are hoping that she will be able to study ballet to her heart's content.

Such grace!!
We are so proud of Emma's ballet. She is so full of grace and beauty when she is doing what her heart desires.
I am hoping to learn how to post a short video on the blog, so stay tuned for action from the Brittans. If you have an experience with posting digital video please let me know any tricks I have to learn. I am a quick study most of the time.
We love you!!
