One of our regular customers is a Thai gentleman who buys our Goat Milk for his wife to drink. She began drinking our milk 12 months ago, after a series of Thai doctors told her that there was no treatment available for the variety of symptoms that she was displaying that even resulted in her being hospitalized at one time with blood pressure fluctuating as low as 50/80. While we see him every week, when he picks up his milk, I have not had a chance to visit with her in many months. Khun Jaraiporn is a sweet, sophisticated, Thai lady, and her health problems over the past several years have made it very difficult for her to perform even the most basic of daily duties.
I had a chance to see her this morning, and when I looked into her eyes, she looked like a new women. She looked rested, healthy, and happy. She came up to me, thanking us for our Goat milk, because when she looks back over her treatments during the past several years nothing has worked. But, she is determined that healthy, clean, Goat Milk, has been the answer to prayer for her recovery! I don’t know the specifics and benefits of Goat milk from a Medicinal perspective, but I cannot deny the changes in this person’s life. I was blessed to hear this good news. I also believe that over the past year, in addition to our milk, she has been surrounded by lots of people to pray for her, and God is continually intervening in Khun Jarairporn’s life.
Hearing this, was such a blessing, but it does not stop there!
She goes on to say, that even though she is a Christian and she knew that the idea came from the Bible, she always thought that NARROW GATE was a very strange name for a bottle of milk. For months, she would wonder, “Why? Why would this foreigner call his brand name NARROW GATE?” She told me that she would often ponder this thought while she sipped an ice cold bottle of our milk. She of course knew that Jesus was teaching us about the choice we have to make about salvation, but it seemed that there was more. Khun Jarairporn wanted to know what did it mean to her, and why did she keep feeling an urge … a need, to know more about it. Until … One day, while she was doing chores, God opened her eyes to the meaning for her. It had come to a point where she had great frustration and conflict with work, her family, and people around her, as a result of her physical condition. What God allowed her to see, is that for her, “entering through the Narrow GATE, means that you need to make a decision for yourself about what kind of person you are going to be. Don’t do, and act, and feel like everyone else thinks you should, but rather, follow the model that JESUS has given to us.” She said , “No matter what, we have to LOVE other people. When we do that, we are ‘Entering through a very NARROW GATE.”
Khun Jaraiporn explained to me, that following this revelation she never again displayed any of the symptoms that had previously plagued her life. Phycically, Emotionally, Spiritually, she has experienced healing and the abundant life that Jesus promises us when we obey Him and follow Him.
I know what Narrow Gate means to me! I know what the Bible says about the Narrow Gate! Today, was such a blessing to see how a label on the front of our Goat Milk Bottle changed a women’s life.

- Pray for God to call churches and individuals to partner with Narrow Gate Asia financially on a monthly partnership basis.
- Pray for provision of needs in relation to development of facilities for our bi-vocational ministry training.
- Praise God for His provision of a special gift to help us repair our truck that is so crucial to getting me to and from our farm/Bible training center.
